About Your Farmers
Who We Are
We’re the Stutzmans—third-generation to live on this farm in the heart of Central Ohio, and the second generation to share our home-raised beef with families like yours.
This land is more than just where we work—it’s where our family roots run deep. It’s where my mom grew up, where our kids are being raised, and where faith, hard work, and responsibility are passed down every day.
I’m Sheldon, and I handle the daily farm operations. My wife, Melanie, manages the finances and keeps everyone well fed. Our son Adam, 18, just graduated as valedictorian of his class. He works full-time at an outdoor furniture manufacturer and still helps on the farm after hours. Allison, 16, assists with marketing and chores and especially enjoys caring for flowers and plants. Alex, 13, and Abigail, 10, brings their energy and curiosity to everything we do together.
Farming isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. We raise our animals with intention and care because we believe we’re called to be a blessing to others. For us, that means making sure you have quality, trustworthy beef you can feel confident feeding your family.
Why Legacy Meadow Farm
In today’s world, knowing where your food comes from—and who’s behind it—is more important than ever. At Legacy Meadow Farm, we provide more than just beef. We offer peace of mind.
When you buy from us, you’re choosing pasture-raised, grain-finished beef raised right here on our farm in Central Ohio. No mystery sourcing. No shortcuts. Just real food, raised by real people who care deeply about what ends up on your plate.
We’ve raised our own meat for over 50 years, and we’ve never had to worry about labels or wonder what’s in our freezer. But not everyone is that fortunate—and that’s why we’ve made it our mission to make high-quality, locally raised beef more accessible to families who want better.
We believe in doing things the right way—even when it’s not the easiest way. That means treating our animals with respect, stewarding the land we’ve been entrusted with, and making decisions that are practical, sustainable, and rooted in our faith.
When you choose Legacy Meadow Farm, you’re not just filling your freezer—you’re investing in a way of life that values transparency, trust, and family.
